+ How much does it cost to open a Savings Account?

In order to open a Savings Account, you will need a first-time deposit of $5.

+ Other than the deposit, what do I need to open a Savings Account?

In order to open a Savings Account with DuGood, you will need a valid driver's license or state ID, and you will need to know your Social Security Number.  Students may use their school ID.

+ Does DuGood offer a savings program for children?

Yes. Children 12 years and younger are eligible for our DuPup Club. 

Upon opening an account for your child, you will receive a DuPup Club stamp card. Every time you bring your child to the credit union and make a deposit into his/her account, you will receive a stamp. Once the stamp card is full, your child can redeem it for fun prizes.

The credit union also holds several prize giveaways each year for our DuPup Club members.

+ How old do you have to be to open a Savings Account?

At DuGood, we believe it's never too early to start healthy savings habits. We offer savings accounts for all ages.

If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a parent or legal guardian to be joint owner on the account with you.

+ Who is eligible to open a Savings Account at DuGood?

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or worships in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, or Jasper Counties.
