Starting January 13, The CardValet App will be going away and replaced with an upgraded experience that makes managing your credit and debit cards even easier. CardValet will become Card Controls and will only be available in Online Banking and in the DuGood Mobile App—offering a smoother user experience. You'll enjoy all the same favorite controls, plus new tools and features for added convenience!
Getting Started
Log in to Online Banking or the DuGood Mobile app.
Click the Card Controls link on the menu or on the More menu of the mobile app.
Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Your existing card settings, limits, and alerts will automatically be transferred to Card Controls. Plus, you'll get more tools, more convenience, and more security! Here's a sneak peek into what's coming:
Card Controls will:
- Help manage debit & credit cards in one place
- Allow you to add or activate a new card and set your PIN
- Add cards to Apple or Google Wallet
- Provide a one-time override for specific card transactions. These will not override previous set limits
- Setup, manage, and view your cards all within the DuGood app

- Group transactions by category, time, and location for easy review
- Provide visual insights through charts and maps to quickly understand spending patterns

GET ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If my card is turned off in Card Controls, will all transactions be declined?
All one-time transactions will be declined. Recurring transactions will be approved.
Will I have to reestablish any existing controls or alerts?
No, existing controls and alerts in CardValet will migrate over to Card Controls.
Will I be able to see my debit and credit cards in Card Controls?
Yes, Card Controls supports both debit and credit cards.
How many cards can you register within Card Controls?
Up to 15 cards can be added to Card Controls.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen, and a new card is issued?
Marking a credit card as lost or stolen in Card Controls will turn the card off and issue a new card that will be mailed to the address on file. Once you receive the new card, it will need to be activated.
Can multiple cards be linked to my Card Controls?
Yes. Cards that were automatically loaded in CardValet will migrate over. Cards that were manually added to CardValet may have to be manually added in Card Controls.
How do I turn on alert/control for an ATM transaction?
There is an ATM category under Transaction Controls that can be enabled or disabled that will apply to all ATM transactions.
Will Card Controls time out after a period of inactivity?
Yes, the screen will time out after 10 minutes of inactivity.
How does enabling My Location for the DuGood app work in Card Controls?
My location is used for the Transaction Enrichment feature of Card Controls. The location services provide you with the precise location of in-person transactions done with your debit or credit card.
Will I still be able to access the standalone app?
No, once Card Controls is launched, the CardValet app will be disabled and you will receive an error message.
