+ What upgrades have been made to the Mobile App?
Our new mobile app has Touch ID login, Quick Balance and offers all the conveniences of online banking.
With Touch ID, you can log in to online banking with your thumbprint. After your initial login to the app, you can enable Touch ID (if your device is compatible) by clicking more, then settings.
With Quick Balance, you can see your account balances and recent transactions from the login screen with a single swipe. No need to log in! To enable Quick Balance, log into the mobile app and click more, then settings. You'll have the option to turn it on or off at any time.
+ Will I need to install a new app?
Yes. On Friday, November 11, 2016 after 8:30 am you will need to log in to the App Store or Google Play and download the new DuGood app.
Be sure to delete our old app, as it will no longer be functional after this date.
+ If I'm signed up for Remote Deposit, will I need to re-enroll?
+ How do I sign up for Remote Deposit?
To begin using Remote Deposit, you must first have the latest version of DuGood's Mobile App.
Log in to the mobile app and select the Check Deposit option in the menu
Be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contact list or friendly senders list so that remote deposit notifications do not get lost in your junk mail.
+ How do I endorse my check for Remote Deposit?
Before scanning your check, you must properly endorse it, so it can be processed correctly.
On the Back:
Write "For Remote Deposit only"
+ How will I know my Remote Deposit was received?
+ When will my Remote Deposit show up in my account?
Checks will be deposited the same day if they are received and accepted before 12:00 pm (Monday - Friday, excluding DuGood holidays). If your check is received after this time, funds will be deposited the next business day.
All checks deposited with Remote Deposit are subject to a 2-business-day hold.
+ Are there any types of checks that cannot be accepted using Remote Deposit?
The following checks cannot be submitted for deposit using Remote Deposit:
- Any check that is stamped with a "non-negotiable" watermark.
- Any check that contains evidence of alteration to information on the check
- Any check issued by a financial institution in a foreign country
- Any check that is incomplete
- Any check that is "stale dated" or "post dated"
- Any check that has been re-deposited or returned for any reason (such as Non-sufficient, Refer to Maker, etc.)
- Any check payable jointly, unless deposited into an account/suffix in the name of all payees
- Third party checks
- Savings Bonds
- Any check not listed that is prohibited by DuGood’s current procedures
